Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    9 apples, grated
Preparation
    Mix together the flour, shortening and sugar.
    Add baking powder, salt and enough milk to make soft, not sticky, dough. Grate the apples.
    Roll out dough; sprinkle apples, sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake in Pyrex dish that has 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar dissolved in it.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
