Golden Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans pineapple juice
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    2 large cans water
    1 oz. bottle almond extract
    2 qt. ginger ale (not included in cooked mixture)
Preparation
    Heat all but ginger ale to dissolve sugar.
    Put in milk jugs and freeze.
    Take out of freezer 2 hours before serving, then chop and add ginger ale.
