Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter or oleo
3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 box dates
1 lb. candy orange slices (gumdrop style)
2 c. nuts
1 can Angel Flake coconut

Preparation

Mix batter as any other cake.
Cut dates and orange slices and use 1/2 cup flour on these.
Bake in a tube pan at 250\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours to 2 3/4 hours.
