Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. round steak, sliced thin
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms or 1 pt. fresh
1 c. sour cream
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
Preparation

Tenderize meat and cut in 3/4-inch strips.
Dredge with flour, salt and pepper.
Brown in hot butter.
Add onions, mushrooms and garlic.
Combine sour cream, soup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce and green pepper.
Pour over meat.
Cover; cook on high heat, then reduce to simmer.
Serve over egg noodles.
Sprinkle with fresh grated Parmesan cheese.
Serves 4 to 5.
