Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. mayonnaise
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 c. shredded carrots
    3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Grease and flour two 9-inch round pans.
    In a bowl stir together first 5 ingredients; set aside.
    In a large bowl mix next 4 ingredients with mixer, at medium speed until well blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
    Stir in carrots and nuts with a spoon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
    Fill and frost with 2 cups of whipped cream, if desired.
