Butter Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/4 c. real butter
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Toast nuts in 1/4 cup butter in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring frequently.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Cream 1 cup of butter and gradually add sugar.
Cream well. Blend in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Stir in vanilla and 1 1/3 cups of nuts.
Bake in three 9-inch layer cake pans at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and spread with Butter Pecan Frosting.
