Hazelnut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. hazelnuts, grated
    2 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Lightly grease cookie sheets.
    Beat until frothy the egg whites.
    Add about 2 tablespoons at a time, beating well after each addition the sugar.
    Continue beating the meringue until stiff peaks are formed.
    Fold the hazelnuts into the meringue mixture.
    Shape dough into balls about 1/2-inch in diameter. Place on the cookie sheets.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    With a spatula, carefully remove cookies from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
    Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
