Chunky Beef Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 qt. water
    1 small can beef (College Inn)
    1/2 c. sugar
    salt
    2 lb. hamburger
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. beef broth mix
    1 qt. tomato juice
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion
    1 lb. frozen vegetables
Preparation
    Mix together water, beef broth, beef, tomato juice, sugar and salt.
    Bring to a boiling point.
    Brown hamburger in onion and butter.
    Add this then to boiling juice, then add frozen vegetables.
    I double the juice part.
    Makes 10 quarts.
    Very good.
