Strawberry Sauce(Ice Cream, Pancakes, Waffles) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. fresh strawberries
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Slice 1 cup of the berries; puree 1 cup in your blender.
    Set aside.
    In a small saucepan, combine and cook cornstarch, sugar and water, stirring constantly.
    When smooth and sugar dissolves, stir in pureed berries and sliced berries.
    Bring to a boil and continue stirring constantly.
    Should boil 1 minute.
    Add lemon juice; stir until slightly thickened.
    Serve hot.
