Marinated Slaw #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 c. vinegar (1 to 2 c. by taste)
    2 medium cabbages (3 lb.), shredded
    2 medium bell peppers, shredded
    2 medium chopped onions
    1 small can pimentos (optional)
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat first 3 ingredients until sugar melts.
    Set aside to cool.
    Pour liquid over slaw.
    Mix well.
    Refrigerate 12 hours before using.
