Ingredients

2 large purple onions, cut in 1/4-inch slices
6 large firm tomatoes, peeled and slice in 1/2-inch slices
1 bell pepper, cut into strips
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
Preparation

Place onions, tomatoes and bell pepper in a bowl.
In saucepan, bring all remaining ingredients to a boil.
Boil one minute only.
While still hot, pour over vegetables.
Chill. Serves 6.
Great with steak or peas.
