Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. round steak
1 large onion
3 stalks celery
1 qt. tomato juice
1 c. flour
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cut steak in serving size pieces.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Beat the flour into the steak.
Brown steak quickly in hot shortening.
Put steak in Dutch oven or roaster.
Add sliced onion and celery and cover with tomato juice.
Cook covered until tender in oven at 350\u00b0.
