Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot bulk sausage
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. minced celery
    1/2 c. minced carrots
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    3/4 c. long grain rice
    1 pkg. dry chicken noodle soup
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    2 Tbsp. butter or oil
    3 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown onion, carrots and celery in butter or oil.
    Brown sausage.
    Boil water.
    Add dry soup, rice and peas.
    Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
