New York Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef
    3 chopped onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce or to taste
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    sugar to taste
    flour
    bay leaves
Preparation
    Shake beef in paper bag with flour to coat.
    Brown in large pan in hot oil.
    Add onions and cook until soft.
    Add water to cover meat; bring to boil and add rest of the seasonings.
    Adjust to your taste.
    This stew should be a little spicy, but you decide.
    Simmer, covered, until meat is tender.
    Peel whole carrots, cut into serving pieces, add to stew and cook until tender.
    Top with dumplings.
