Aunt Hettie'S Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. flavoring (vanilla, almond, etc.)
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar together for 10 minutes.
    Add flavoring. Add sifted dry ingredients and water.
    Beat together thoroughly. Lightly grease 9 x 13-inch pan (bottom).
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Cool in pan.
    Spread with whipped cream and cut into serving size pieces.
    Try other toppings like lemon, caramel or chocolate.
