Hawaiian Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lbs. round steak (cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes) or beef chunks
1 Tbsp. shortening
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1 can pineapple chunks
1 beef bouillon cube
1 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 cup brown sugar
green beans

Preparation

Brown beef in shortening.
Add onion, garlic, salt, ginger. Drain pineapple.
Add water to juice to make 2 cups liquid.
Add 1/2 cup liquid to meat and simmer until tender.
Combine beef bouillon cube, molasses, brown sugar, cornstarch with remaining liquid.
Add to beef.
Simmer until thickened.
Arrange green beans and pineapple on top.
Serve with cooked rice.
