Sweet-Sour Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 boned chicken breasts, cut in strips
2 Tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. water
1 (16 oz.) can chow mein vegetables, drained
Preparation

Heat oil in a large skillet and stir-fry chicken until it turns white; season with salt.
Add green pepper and syrup drained from pineapple.
Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes.
Mix cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar and water and stir into chicken mixture.
Cook until thickened.
Stir in pineapple chunks and chow mein vegetables and heat through.
Makes five 1-cup servings.
