Richard'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
Preparation
    Cream Crisco, butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
    Alternately add flour and milk, mixing well after each.
    Add flavoring and mix again.
    Pour mixture into well-greased and floured tube or long loaf pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 2 hours or until done.
    (Recipe calls for 1 1/2 hours, but I find that it takes 2 hours.)
    This is a good cake and big too!
    Start in cold oven.
    Do not preheat.
