Holiday Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks, reserve juice
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    3 bananas, sliced
    2 (11 oz.) cans Mandarin oranges, drained
    3 medium unpeeled apples, chopped
    1/2 lb. red seedless grapes, halved
Preparation
    Dressing:
    Drain pineapple, place juice in small saucepan. Add sugar, flour (make sure these two ingredients have been blended well) and beaten egg to juice.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened.
    Cool.
