Caramel Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. popped corn
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. white vinegar
    1/4 c. butter/margarine
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, vinegar and salt.
    Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 260\u00b0.
    Reduce heat to low; stir in butter until melted.
    Pour syrup in thin streams over corn in bowl, stirring until corn is well coated. Cool slightly.
    Butter hands and shape mixture into 3-inch balls. Place on waxed paper.
