Popcorn Snack - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    5 qt. popped corn
    3 (2 3/4 ) pkg. almonds
    2 (5 oz.) pkg. pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, syrup and salt in heavy saucepan; bring to boil stirring constantly.
    Boil without stirring 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla and baking soda.
    Pour mixture over corn and nuts, quickly stir until well coated.
    Pour mixture into 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 until dry, about 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes.
    Remove from oven, spread apart, cool and store in airtight container.
    Yields 5 1/2 quarts.
