Mexican Wedding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. butter (at room temperature)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, walnuts and pineapple in a large mixing bowl, using a fork. Pour in an ungreased 9 x 13-inch glass baking pan and bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0. (Bake longer if using a metal baking pan.)
    Cake will still be very soft. Remove from oven and top with frosting.
