Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. olive oil
    2 c. chopped onion
    8 small garlic cloves, minced
    8 c. peeled, seeded and chopped tomato
    1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
    1/4 c. minced fresh basil
    2 tsp. minced fresh oregano
    1 tsp. fennel seeds, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Coat a large saucepan with cooking spray; add oil and place over medium heat until hot.
    Add onion and garlic; saute for 3 minutes or until tender.
    Stir in tomato and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
