Palitas (Floating Mochi Dough) Or Dila-Dila (Tongue-Shaped Dough) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. mochi flour
    1 1/4 c. water or enough to form soft dough
Preparation
    Boil a pan of water.
    Form dough into small balls, then flatten each ball into an oblong shape (like shape of tongue). Drop each oblong
    shaped
    dough
    into
    boiling
    water.
    As\tit floats, remove from
    water\twith
    slotted spoon, roll in sugar and grated coconut, or prepare the Palitas Topping.
