Kiss Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 scant c. sugar
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Add salt to sugar and add gradually to
    egg whites while continuing to beat.\tPut into 2 loose-bottom 8-inch cake tins.
    Oil (not grease) cake pans and spread batter
    with
    spoon.
    Bake
    at
    300\u00b0
    for 1 hour.
    Take cakes from\tpans
    immediately.
    Allow to cool on a rack before putting layers together.
