Spiced Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer chicken, cut up
    1/2 tsp. onion salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. anise extract or 1/4 tsp. anise seed
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. monosodium glutamate (optional)
Preparation
    Combine spices.
    Wash chicken thoroughly and dry.
    Sprinkle spice mixture over entire surface of chicken.
    Refrigerate at least one hour.
