Potluck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. cooked macaroni
    1/2 c. undrained kidney beans
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    salt and pepper to taste
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown onion in 1 tablespoon of oil.
    Add ground beef and sear; pour off excess grease.
    Add tomato sauce and cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
    Add beans, macaroni, salt and pepper to meat mixture.
    Pour in 2-quart greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
