Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
1 1/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/3 c. cooking oil
2 eggs, well beaten
1 medium onion, diced
3/4 c. milk
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
hot peppers to taste
1 lb. sausage or ground beef
Preparation

Brown meat, drain and set aside.
Mix corn, cornmeal, oil, eggs, onion, milk and 3/4 of the cheese.
Add meat and peppers. Mix well.
Pour into a greased baking dish and use leftover cheese to put on top.
Bake at 375\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Can be wrapped in foil and put in freezer.
