Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white syrup
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 lb. raw peanuts
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar, white syrup, water and salt until it almost spins a thin thread.
    Add raw peanuts.
    Add butter when it spins a thread.
    Cook until ready, then remove from heat.
    Add soda and blend.
    Pour on a butter slab or a couple of cookie sheets, turn over and spread as thin as possible.
