Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce, torn up
3/4 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped green onion
1/2 pkg. frozen peas
1/2 pt. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
1 lb. bacon
Preparation

Place lettuce in bottom of salad bowl. Add layer of chopped celery, chopped green pepper and chopped green onion combined. Add layer of frozen peas. Spread mayonnaise mixed with sugar over the frozen peas like frosting. Layer with grated cheese. Cook bacon until crisp; then crumble over the cheese. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 24 hours. Do not toss.
