Cookie And Cream Layer Cake - cooking recipe

1 (18.25 oz.) box white cake mix
1/2 c. (4 oz.) sour cream
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3/4 c. milk
3 egg whites
2 c. crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), divided
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, sour cream, milk, egg whites and oil. Beat on low speed to blend, then on medium for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir 1 1/2 cups crushed cookies into batter. Divide batter between 2 greased and floured round cake pans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool and frost with White Frosting, then sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of crushed cookies on top of cake for decoration.
