Frogmore Stew(Low Country - South Carolina) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (12 oz.) cans beer
    3 lb. shell on shrimp
    1 lb. clams in shell
    2 lb. sausage (Polish, Italian, smoked or German)
    12 ears fresh sweet corn, broken in 4-inch pieces
    6 bay leaves
Preparation
    Place beer and bay leaves in large kettle or pot.
    Cook sausage 1 1/2 hours at medium heat.
    Add shrimp, corn-on-the-cob and clams.
    Cook for additional 30 minutes.
    Serve in bowls.
