Blueberry Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
    3 Tbsp. butter or oleo, melted
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, soda, salt, 1/2 cup sugar and orange rind in a medium bowl; cut in shortening with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.
    Combine egg and buttermilk.
    Add to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Stir in blueberries.
    Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface,
    knead 4 or 5 times.
    Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
