Pork Chop Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
    2 Tbsp. shortening (if needed)
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 envelope beef onion soup mix
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Brown chops in shortening or spray pan with vegetable spray and brown both sides.
    Drain chops on paper towels.
    In buttered 2 to 3-quart oblong baking dish, arrange potatoes and onions and place browned pork chops on top.
