Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large apples (peeled and sliced)
9 inch unbaked pie shell
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup butter
Preparation

Arrange apples in pie shell.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the apples.
Sift the remaining 1/2 cup sugar with the flour.
Cut in the butter until mixture is crumbly and sprinkle evenly over the apples.
Bake in a hot 450 degree oven for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue baking for 40 minutes until apples are tender.
