Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. green and red hot peppers, finely chopped
    3/4 to 1 c. bell pepper, finely chopped
    6 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
    1 (6 oz.) bottle Certo
    food color (if desired)
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, bring peppers, sugar and vinegar to a hard rolling boil.
    Remove pan from heat and cool for 5 minutes.
    Add Certo and food color.
    Pour into sterilized jars.
    Usually add all green, but at Christmastime, halve the mixture with red and green.
    Makes about 12 baby food jars or 4 to 5 half-pint jelly jars.
