Chili For 100 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. onions
6 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. fat
1 lb. celery, chopped
9 qt. kidney beans
6 1/2 qt. canned tomatoes
1/2 lb. green peppers, chopped
3 oz. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
5 tsp. chili powder
1/2 bottle ketchup
Preparation

Brown onions and meat in fat.
Add all other ingredients except beans and simmer until thoroughly done.
Add beans about half-hour before serving time or at least do not cook so long that beans become mushy.
If mixture seems too thin, you can thicken with gravy thickening.
Garlic may be added, if desired.
