Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar.
    Cut in softened butter.
    Place in 2 balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Flatten into 7-inch circles, about 1 1/2 inches thick.
    Flute edges.
    Prick lines on circle with a fork.
