Lemon Pineapple Gelatin Fluff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
    1 lb. small curd cottage cheese
    1/4 c. cherries and 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix jello and boiling water well.
    Add partially drained pineapple, marshmallows, mayonnaise and cottage cheese immediately.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Add cherries and nuts before chilling, if desired.
    Garnish with cherries when chilled.
    Serve with crisp iceberg lettuce.
    Uses a 9 x 13-inch pan or dish.
