Sweet 'N' Sour Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sweet Italian sausage
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. wine vinegar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Parboil sausage approximately 15 to 20 minutes to remove excess fat.
    Fry sausage thoroughly until brown on all sides. Drain and cut into bite-size pieces.
    Mix remaining ingredients in frying pan.
    Simmer 5 minutes and add sausage.
    Heat sausage until sauce bubbles.
    Serve hot with toothpicks.
    Keeps well in refrigerator until ready to use.
