Sawdust Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. wallpaper paste
4 or 5 c. water
5 c. sawdust
salt

Preparation

Mix wallpaper paste with water to make a thin paste.
Add sawdust slowly to get a dough consistency.
Add a little salt as a preservative.
This dough will have a textured finish. Refrigerate overnight.
Objects will need to dry several days before they can be decorated or painted with tempera.
