Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. chopped scallions (including green tops)
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced or diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    In a large skillet, put butter or margarine and melt; add scallions and mushrooms.
    Cover and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, until tender.
    Add flour and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add milk and broth, using whisk to combine well.
    Return soup to moderate heat and simmer and stir for 5 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Serves 4.
