English Pea And Water Chestnut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 small onion, minced
    1 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 cans peas, drained (I use LeSueur peas)
    1 can water chestnuts
    2 Tbsp. pimento
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    buttered bread crumbs
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper and celery. Saute until soft.
    Remove from heat and add peas and chestnuts. Fold in soup and pimento.
    Pour into two-quart casserole. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
