Liver Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    soup bone
    1 lb. ground liver
    1 loaf dry bread, broken into pieces
    1 large onion
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    3/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Simmer soup bone in water.
    Mix the remaining ingredients. Make dumplings and drop into boiling soup broth.
    Cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
