Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream together butter and shortening.
    Beat in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
    Blend sifted dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
    Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls.
    Combine 3 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.
    Roll balls in this mixture.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
