Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 bar (4 oz.) milk chocolate candy
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Heat oven at 350\u00b0.
Mix sugar, butter, egg yolk and vanilla. Press in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake until very light brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
Crust will be soft.
Immediately place candy on crust.
Let stand until candy is soft.
Spread evenly.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Cut into bars while warm.
