Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 heads cabbage
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1/2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 to 3 green peppers
    1 to 2 stalks celery
    2 to 3 carrots, shredded
Preparation
    Chop cabbage and add 1/2 teaspoon salt.
    Mix well and let stand 2 hours.
    Squeeze out juice after 2 hours.
    Make dressing by boiling sugar, vinegar, water and spices for 5 minutes.
    Set aside to cool.
    Add diced peppers, celery and carrots to cabbage.
    Pour liquid over and let stand 24 hours.
    Chill and serve.
