Creamed Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium, peeled potatoes
    1 small, peeled onion
    4 green onions
    1 clove minced garlic
    3 c. regular strength chicken broth
    3/4 c. whipping cream
    1 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Cut potatoes into eighths.
    Saute chopped onion in butter in heavy 3-quart saucepan for 1 minute.
    Add potatoes, garlic and broth.
    Simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
    Puree in food processor or blender.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Garnish with crisp croutons, green onion tops or parsley.
    May be made ahead and kept refrigerated.
