Hot Fudge Sauce I - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light or dark corn syrup
    1/2 c. light cream or heavy cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla in saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
    Boil briskly 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups. May be stored in refrigerator.
    To reheat, place in pan over hot water until sauce is thinned to pouring consistency.
    If 3 squares unsweetened chocolate are substituted for cocoa, use 2 tablespoons butter.
