Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. citric acid
    6 lb. sugar
    1 gal. boiling water
    2 gal. cold water
    2 large cans frozen lemon juice
    2 large cans pineapple juice
Preparation
    Mix well the acid, sugar and boiling water.
    Add the cold water and juices.
    This makes 4 1/2 gallons undiluted.
    Use 1 bottle ginger ale to 1 gallon punch.
    Put in freezer and let freeze, thawing partially just before serving.
